I am not flight crew, but I do work for an airline. May I stay?

No. Whiskey Bravo is exclusively for Pilots and Flight Attendants. Only. No ifs, ands, or buts. Period.

Where exactly is Whiskey Bravo located?

We are two blocks from downtown El Segundo. One of our units is about half mile from the downtown area.

Is El Segundo safe? 

Yes! El Segundo is an upper middle class neighborhood with a very low crime rate. We have no reports of our tenants feeling unsafe in the neighborhood. 

How to I get to and from the airport?

On-demand ride sharing service is available from El Segundo to LAX. Uber and Lyft typically cost between $5.00 USD and $12.00 USD, dependent on exact drop-off location and surge pricing.
Public transportation is available for $1.00 USD.

I have a car. Is parking available in the building?

Yes, depending on avilability. Parking is $90.00 USD per month. 

Are the rooms co-ed?

Yes, most of the rooms are co-ed. If you are interested in a female only room, please inquire on availability.

I do not know my schedule yet. Can you prorate in and out?

Rental period start 12:01 AM on the first of the month, and end 12:01 PM on the last day of the month. In extenuating circumstances, we may be able to prorate.

How do I secure my deposit?

All deposits are collected online. Please call 1-315-247-8844 for avalability.

When is rent due each month?

Rent is due the 27th of each month, prior to the next month.

 

I cannot pay rent by the 27th. Is there a late fee?

Yes, if rent is not paid by 12:01 AM on the 28th of the month, the amount due will increase. If rent is not paid by the first of the month, we will assume you no longer want the spot. 
Please communicate with us about any late payments to avoid fees and eviction. 

I found a new gig and do not need the spot. How much notice do I need to give when moving out?

When moving out, let us know by the 15th of the month, for the next month. This is about two weeks notice.

I have stayed in a crew house before. How many beds are in each room?

Depending on the unit, the number of beds vary slightly. Typically, there are six beds per room. We do have a room with four beds and another with eight. However, as you already know, tenant's schedules vary, making our occupancy around 40%, or about two people per room, each night.

I have more off days than on coming up. Is there a limit to the number of nights I can stay per month?

No, there is no limit to the amount of nights you can stay each month. We do ask that you keep in mind industry standard tends to be 10 to 15 days per month. If exceeded consistenty, we will address case by case. 

I am on reserve. Do I need to pay more rent per month?

No, you do not need to pay more when on reserve.

I am on a budget. Will the rent be increased over time?

No, there will be no rental increase if you are a consistent tenant and pay on time.

I have to watch my show on HBO. Is there a TV?

No, Whiskey Bravo does not have a television in any of our units. We do this purposefully -- we strive to create a positive community with an awesome social dynamic! 
There are many bars down the street to watch the game, or feel free to watch HBO on your personal device via our WiFi.

I enjoy a cocktail every now and then. Is alcohol allowed?

It's aviation, so yes. We just ask you to be mindful of the noise and respectful of others in the house and our neighbors.

I hate picking up after everyone! Are the units clean?

Yes! Cleanliness is one of our top priorities. We have regular maid service every 10 days. However, if there are any further issues, please let us know.

May I cook and make my own food in the unit?

Yes, we supply basic kitchenware. There is also tons of shared cupboard space.

And my fan mail? Can I have packages sent to the unit?

At your own risk. You are more than welcome to have packages sent, however we cannot guarantee the receipt. Whiskey Bravo is not responsible for missing items.
